We had a late check in and were ignored for more than 10 minutes. The girl behind the desk saw us, but decided to take a break. After getting back to us we were informed that the booked room wasn't available and instead of a king, we got a double which made the sleep pretty uncomfortable for the two of us. The location is nice, but you need a taxi to get into the city. Nice restaurant is the "No Name" right around the corner.

Great Hotel in South Boston
06/26/2010We enjoyed this hotel very much. the staff was friendly and the location, eventho not in boston proper, was excellent. you have access to taxi, subway etc.

I travel alot for business so wanted to write a review about this hotel in Boston. Beautiful area. The service is prompt, but very unfriendly staff, from the bellman, front desk, & fitness center, which by the way closes at 9pm. (Just about every hotel I have been to in the last year and 1/2 is 24 hr). Rooms need to be updated, old chairs and ugly bed covers. King size bed wasnt as comfy as it could be.
